Born in Ödenberg, Hungary

He started playing piano when he was very young.

His father worked for the Esterházy family.

He became a very famous piano player. He was one of the greatest piano players of all time.

He gave very exciting concerts. At his concerts, he was a “show off.”

He was the first piano player to memorize his music for concerts.
